We connect families to resources and temporary housing. Our team meets immediate physical needs first to restore personal dignity. We empower local neighbors to move from crisis to stability and from homelessness to home.
We serve hot, nutritious meals and run a free grocery market to support local families. We provide clean showers in a safe environment. Our future vision includes laundry facilities and a safe Emergency Respite Shelter.
Many unhoused individuals and food-insecure families face a total lack of transportation. They are isolated in remote camps across the Antelope Valley. Our Lancaster hub has plenty of food available. So we are raising funds to purchase a covered delivery trailer to solve this distribution barrier. This mobile unit allows our teams to load fresh produce and groceries to drive directly to our most isolated neighbors.
The mobile trailer reaches vulnerable people who cannot physically travel to our physical campus. This includes unhoused individuals in remote desert camps and rural families without vehicles. This permanent distribution asset expands our weekly reach from 1,250 people to 1,750 people. Plus, it increases our weekly food distribution to 35,000 pounds to ensure our neighbors receive resources with complete dignity.
